Overview

This tutorial assumes that you have already been established as a dealer in CareGARDWarranty.com (CGW) and have successfully logged into CGW. In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage transmittals in CGW. 

A transmittal is an invoice or a record of sale of an F&I product. When the bank funds a customer’s loan, you (the dealer) initiate the invoice process by creating a transmittal to pay the third-party administrator or product provider, such as CAREGARD, for any F&I products the customer purchased along with the vehicle. After creating the transmittal, you print out the paperwork and send the payment to the third-party administrator. 

Using CGW, you can also search for unpaid and paid F&I product contracts.

When the third-party administrator receives your transmittal, they process the transmittal by validating contract and payment information. 

Using this tutorial, you will learn how to search for transmittals.

Searching for Transmittals

In this section, you will learn how to search for paid, unpaid, or all transmittals in CGW:

1. Select Transmittal > Search Transmittal from the left navigation menu.

2. In the Search Transmittals panel, you can search for paid, unpaid, or all transmittals within CGW:

UI Item	Description
Start Date	The transmittal start date for your search
End Date	The transmittal end date for your search
Payment Status	The payment status for your search: · All allows you to search for all transmittals, regardless of payment status. · Paid allows you to search for paid transmittals. · Unpaid allows you to search for unpaid transmittals.
Grid	Allows you to display the transmittal report in a grid on your screen.
PDF	Allows you to print the transmittal report as a PDF.
Run Report	Generates the transmittal report

3. CGW displays the transmittal report results:

4. You have two options now:

UI Item	Description
View	Select this button to view the results of a particular transmittal.
Transmittal #	Click the transmittal number (47389 in this report) to the left of the transmittal to view the contracts that are attached to this transmittal, as shown here:
