Overview
This tutorial is written for CareGARDWarranty.com (CGW) administrators. Using the CGW Admin menu, administrators can add lenders to CGW, find existing lenders, and make changes to lender profiles.
Using this tutorial, you will learn how to manage lenders.
Managing Lenders
As the CGW administrator, you can add a lender to the system. You can also locate an existing lender and make changes to its profile.
1. Select Admin > Lender Management from the left navigation menu.

2. In the Lender Management dialog, you can add a new lender or locate an existing lender and make changes to its profile.

Adding a New Lender
In the Add Lender panel of the Lender Management dialog, you can add a new lender to CGW by clicking the Add Lender button. This opens the Add/Edit Lender panel:

Lender Name |
Enter the lender name. |

Enter the street address for the lender. |

| Zip | Enter the zip code for the lender. |
| Phone | Enter the phone number for the lender. |
| DMS Lender Code | Enter the Dealer Management System (DMS) lender code for this lender. |
| Lender Affiliation | Select the financial institution with which this lender is affiliated. |
| Finance Reserve | Enter the finance reserve percentage. For most auto loans, dealerships tack an additional amount, called finance or dealer reserve, onto the interest rate the customer will pay. Today it's typically less than 2.5 percentage points and sometimes less than a single point. |

| Close | Click this button to close this dialog without saving or submitting your changes. |
| Submit | Click this button to save and submit your changes. |
Finding and Editing a Lender
1. In the Find Lender panel of the Lender Management dialog, you can find an existing lender and make changes to it.

Owner Group |
Lenders are shared within a dealer group. If you create a lender, everyone within your dealer group can see that lender. Select the owner (dealer) group for the lender. |

Select the lender name. |

Select this checkbox to search only for active lenders in TRONIX. |

Click this button to execute the search. |
2. CGW displays your search results and provides you with several options:

Lender Name |
To edit a lender's profile, click their lender name in the Lender column. This opens the Add/Edit Lenderpanel where you can make changes to the lender's profile. |

Activate Lender |
Click this button to activate the lender’s account in CGW. Until they are activated, they cannot perform CGW actions. |
|
Retire Lender |
Click this button to retire the lender’s account in CGW. This feature deactivates the lender account. |
